Vertex promptly transitioned internal operations to cloud service providers known for their high standards in cyber security resilience and global certifications. For our messaging and collaboration tools, we selected Google Workspace, which adheres to rigorous security and privacy standards, including:
- ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management)
- ISO/IEC 27017 (Cloud Security)
- ISO/IEC 27018 (Cloud Privacy)
- ISO/IEC 27701 (Privacy)
- SOC 2 and SOC 3 reports
These measures ensure our internal operations, including personal devices, are secured with encryption at rest and multi-factor authentication. In addition to Google Workspace, we leverage other cloud super-majors like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. For example, our medical payment switching services are hosted on AWS to align with the highest technology and security standards.
